• A ‘Natural’ soundtrack with birdsong for the Square
• A Lounge atmosphere for the hotel reception
• Music adapted for specific treatments at Sea Spa and relaxing music for the surrounding area

To satisfy its cosmopolitan and curious clientele, the Long Beach offers everything from traditional Mauritian music to World Music.

Whether it is a contemporary dance show on the Square, trumpeter Philipe Thomas’ Jazz Band live at Shores Bar or Sagapataal, a group that plays Oriental music on Western instruments, even one of the countless international DJs regularly invited for events, you will love the diversity and quality of the music.

At the Long Beach the young, talented Mauritian Jean-Michel Rey not only manages the hotel’s entertainment, he is also a sound engineer and music producer… Passionate about music, he brings his own brand of flair and creativity to the cool Long Beach concept. He began his musical career at the age of 13 with percussion instruments, jazz and fusion which have had a significant impact on the work he produces at the Long Beach.

Jean-Michel Rey has integrated the Long Beach philosophy into his music concept and concerts, seducing a new audience in search of unique and modern sounds.
